A home in Fuchu, Hiroshima prefecture for a young couple and their child. The idea was to place two walls on the site, a narrow, deep, stepped piece of land. The first wall acts as a barrier between the home and the road while also creating a front yard that feels like an extension of the living space. The second wall bridges the dining room with the kitchen and the play room, creating a focal point for the home.
