Shelf Museum

EN / JP

"Shelf Museum" is an imaginary museum that existed only during the Under 35 Architects Exhibition 2015. By using the "shelf" as a 1/20 scale model of the museum itself, a vast exhibition space was created, in which +ft+'s past projects were displayed. In addition to displaying the works from the viewpoint of gallery visitors, as is usually the case with exhibitions, the exhibition is presented from the perspective of the scale figures (viewers) in the architectural models (shelves), with the intention of allowing both those who are involved in architecture and those who are not, to experience the space as architects do. We also featured a 1:1 rendition of the +ft+ office and displayed our office shelves as the "shelf museum." We aimed to create an exhibition where +ft+'s work could be discovered and experienced by as many people as possible.
