Bicycle hub design for Kobe's community bicycle system, "Kobe Linkle (Kobe Linkle Kobelin)".
Taking a cue from the Old Danish word "laenker," the origin of the word "link," which means "chain" or "metal connection," the motif for the design is the mountains and the sea that characterize Kobe.
By designing a highly visible bike port that is uniquely Kobe, we aimed to create a community cycle that is easy to use and feels familiar to locals and tourists alike.
